About Supercuts Hounslow
I went to Supercuts in London at Liverpool Street station and only asked for a trim. Having moved home, to an area where the local hairdressers specialise in Afro hair, Supercuts seemed the nearest convenient option, for European hair. Plus, it's always a bonus not to need an appointment and the prices are reasonable. I had been advised in the past, by a hairdresser, not to use Supercuts; she said they tend to take on overseas staff who do not have UK equivalent hairdressing qualifications. I didn't take any notice, presuming that the Liverpool Street salon can't be that bad, as they must deal with a lot of city workers, right? WRONG!!!!! The girl that saw me was in a very bad mood. She was very rough when handling my head and burnt my scalp with the hairdryer. I thought I had explained clearly that I just wanted a small trim, all over, to tidy my hair up. It had only been about 6 weeks since my last trim, so it didn't need much doing to it. For some reason she has cut off huge amounts of hair and left it in a really scruffy cut. It looked neater before I went in. It now looks like its full of split ends, as if I haven't had it cut for 6 months. I had layers at the back, which she has cut so short that they are now level with my fringe and ears, with the ends of the layers sticking out. My hair is quite thin anyway, but now the longer parts at the bottom are so thin, you can see my ears. To top it off, I had a thin side fringe, which (again, for some unbeknown reason) she has restyled into a thick (Friar Tuck/pudding basin) fringe. It looks like a really bad mullet (which I didn't even ask for... I only wanted a trim!!!). WHY has she done this? It really seemed as if she was trying to deliberately give me the worst haircut possible. The worst thing is, I start a new job in 2 weeks and she has left me looking like someone off the street. After just wanting to cry all I feel now is anger. This haidresser was pure evil! Whatever you do, don't wast £29 at supercuts (wash, cut, dry)... I'm now going to have to pay another £50-£60 at a decent salon in the area, just to ask them to try to do something to neaten up my hair, until it grows a bit. Either that or have extensions put in, to try to make my hair look normal again. Very annoyed at having to pay twice for a trim (especially during this credit crunch). Supercuts, never again.
