I was a loyal customer to this salon until I was finally pushed over the edge. It was a couple of years ago but the owner was always friendly and part of the reason I kept going back along with the location but I soon realised she was a money grabber. The extortionate facials I would have (costing ?80) would include being left in a room for long periods of time - when I once asked if she could massage my head she said no. I had paid over ?1000 to this woman for massages, waxes, nails, products, facials and I also had recommended her a lot then she begrudged me a head massage during an ?80 facial and opted to leave me in the room (again). One I also had shellac done which peeled off after a week, it's obviously not supposed to peel off after 4 weeks - just chip. I overlooked that but looking back I shouldn't have cut her the slack when she wasn't prepared to go the extra inch for me. That was the end of that

I had a lovey experience at the beauty lounge. I had a bee venom facial and the massage was lovely.The room was warm and clean so no complaints there the service I had was second to none. I will definitely book another after xmas

a lot of anti aging product, which was a bit mind blowing but received a lot of good information. My skin looked amazing after. I will look at booking a course as my skin looked good and much better, which is why I went.

I am so glad that I have read the reviews below, I thought I was alone! This is the worst salon that I've ever been to. The owner is rude and a compulsive liar as she promised to get back to me several times on a request and never bothered to phone me. I can't believe this salon is still in business. Once when she threaded my eyebrows, she took half of one of my eyebrows away and just laughed it off! I would steer clear of this salon and have told all my friends never to go there. The customer service is appalling and I am astounded that someone can treat their customers like that and still continue to trade!

I have been twice now for my course of facial and I can really see the difference in the skin. The therapist is lovely, and what I like more is how at ease she makes me feel. I felt this immediately when entering the salon. I cant see what all the bad reviews are about. I have nothing but praise for the staff and the treatments they have on offer. Luc

Excellent! I have been coming her for many years, and I have always had really good treatments. They are at the top of their game, and the girls are lovely. I am always greeted by a friendly face and my options are the discussed with me. I would recommend them for all your anti aging treatment, nails and waxing. This is an excellent salon and local too. Recommended....

My partner treated me to a facial yesterday, I had the worst experience! The beautician looked as though she hadn't washed her hair for a week, left me for nearly 10 mins while she went out to take appointments, missed my focus area that I explained needed work, then asked me how it looked while I was sat in a very untidy room with no mirror in the dark. She then tried to push products, then when I got to the till tried to charge me an extra £20 on top of the £60 we'd agreed making it £80 for a 20 min facial. I was at the till by 4.46pm, my appointent started at 4.05pm. I was 5 mins late which I'd already arrnaged due to my job. 10 minutes to take down my details. She asked me "do you go around not paying my bills" I was assertive and paid the £60, she was lucky to get her fee! It was the worst treament I'd had! I've just been online to write a review and found lots more on here, turns out I'm not the only one. I went to her based on a referral. What a joke of a business you go for a facial and walk out being abused, ripped off and upset!

I had several treatments here but once I had paid up the ladies attitude completely changed. She seemed to be constantly looking to argue with me for no apparent reason which is a very strange business strategy if you are wanting to create a customer base. It also came to light that she has no experience or qualifications for the treatments she provides..so be warned she will damage your skin!!! The woman clearly doesn't like her job and looks as though she's just rolled out of bed....Please do us all a favour and shut your business so as not to offend anymore vulnerable clientel.

I dont understand these bad reviews, the beauty salon is at the end of my road and I went to get my nails done recently and had a fantastic experience. The lady was lovely, very friendly and chatty and not rude in the slightest.

Don't go to this salon the lady that owns it isn't qualified and neither is the young lady that works alongside her. I am going to make a complaint to trading standards regarding this lady as the way I was treated by her was nothing short of disgusting. She refused to give me a refund after burning me whilst giving me a leg wax, she took money off my card without my permission.

This woman who owns this salon is without a shadow of doubt the most arrogant, obnoxious idiot I have ever met. She doesn't have a clue how to do beauty and I would say is barely qualified. I received a spray tan from her and looked like a zebra it was all streaky, the pedicure I received was even worse. I really didn't even want to use this salon after I phoned to book an appointment having received a voucher from a friend I felt I had to use the money on treatments. Whilst there it got to the stage where I couldn't take anymore of her rude, obnoxious behaviour that I felt I had to say something which took her back a bit. She shoves you around whilst spray tanning you and quite harshly as well, practically spits at you if you ask her what she is doing. I advise anyone who is even comtemplating to book a treatment here do so at your own PERIL this woman is a border line skitzo.

The lady, who runs Beauty Lounge has an extremely bad attitude. I have never been spoken so rudely over the phone to someone who I was going to give my custom too. It felt she couldnt be bothered to speak to me over the phone. Im glad i didnt go in the end though as ive heard a lot of bad experiences there. Including faces being burnt during treatment, and wax being dropped in hair while having eyebrows waxed! Would definatley NOT recommend this clinic!
