About The Hair Lounge
I have previously used this salon 6 months ago and had a really good experience. However, I can safely say this visit to The Hair Lounge has been my worst ever hairdressing experience. I asked for a full head foils - highlights, blow dry and cut with the manager Donna but when I got home I realised that if I part my hair down the middle I have half an inch of roots and I also half an inch of rooots and straight blond line on the right side of my head where the foils had been placed too far away from my head. I telepnoned the salon on saturday (the day after) and I was asked to return tuesday at 5pm. Now naively believed they would discuss the problem and re-highlight those areas with roots on tuesday but no. When I arrived the manager was busy with other clients and I had to wait after 5 mins the junior stylist came over and I showed her the problem areas of my hair. She tried to fobe me off by saying that they don't foil all your hair and that was left over from previous highlights but half inch regrowth is not from 6 months ago. She also said that "with foils that is the affect you get" but who would want blonde hair with brown roots. When ask if they could sort it out, they said they could not do it tonight as they were now fully booked eventhough they told me they had space on saturday. It takes me 20mins to drive to Chatham and £1 at least to park plus £90 for a terrible hair colour. They would not give me a refund and the manager did not even talk to me. If they had just apologised and sorted the roots out I would have been satisfied but now I have to go back to tomorrow to sort the colour out and guess what they don't even have time to blow dry my hair afterwards!!!!! Please avoid this salon at all costs as they will not resolve any issues if there is a problem.
