So this place has some reviews from years ago about the staff being homophobic and this hasn't changed. I am a trans guy and I get a skin fade and it has never been a problem for any barber to cut my hair in over a decade. I asked if they had time for a skin fade and they said they don't cut women's hair, I took my cap off and said I just want a skin fade mate, and they insisted that they don't have a licence to cut women's hair?? And I said 'i'm not a woman I'm just looking to get a skin fade' and they said I'm confusing the issue. I said 'it's not confusing I'm not a woman'. Anyway we argued for a bit and just in general very disrespectful and hostile attitude and I've been going to high street barbers since I was 16. Basically if you are queer or care about queer and trans people I would stay away. Clearly aren't arsed about performing a service for people.
