Vinters Valley Park is a nature reserve that forms a barrier between two large housing estates on the outskirts of Maidstone. There are a wide variety of habitats for plants and animals here, and as such it is a beautiful and interesting place to visit. There are also pleasant walks within the park, which originally were the grounds of a manor house. Harbour Park is another popular attraction, which is an amusement park that has the old favourites such as The Waltzer and The Dodgems. There is much more to do, for instance, visitors can play fantasy golf, pan for gold, brave the Horror Hotel, get wet on the Log Flume, ride the crazy bikes and skate on the indoor rink. Being located right on the beach, the area also offers boat trips, cafes, restaurants and plenty of picnic areas. There are also a number of bars and pubs in the area to fulfil night life activities, i.e. Tangerine, The Jack Horner, Macmillans Bar, The Richard Cobden, The Half Brick, and The Grand Victorian.Some of the primary schools located in Worthing are “St. Mary's Catholic Primary School, Worthing”, Chesswood Middle School, and Downsbrook Middle School. Some of the secondary schools are Our Lady of Sion School, Strides Learning Support Centre, and St. Andrew's CofE High School for Boys.
